International Bank


Focus
To develop the capability of the top team of the group treasury.

Activities
Design and development of a Personal Development and Coaching Programme involving the creation of a Career Development Workshop, the selection of psychometrics, leadership development exercises and the design of structured interviews. Then to provide coaching as appropriate.

Results
Personal Development plans provided for top team members, leading to several successful managerial promotions.

Investment Banking Division, Major Dutch Bank


Focus
To develop the effectiveness of the desk heads on the trading floor.

Activities
Design and development of a Personal Development and Coaching Programme involving the creation of a Personal Development Workshop, the selection of psychometrics, practical management exercises and a structured interview.

Following the identification of common development themes, a Leadership and Management Development Programme was developed and delivered in two modules. Coaching was provided for specific individual needs.

Results
Personal Development plans delivered and leadership effectiveness improved.

Worldwide Banking Corporation


Focus
To support the development of a senior divisional head.

Activities
Design and development of Personal Development and Coaching Programme involving the creation of a Career Development Workshop, the selection of psychometrics, leadership development exercises and the design of structured interviews. Then to provide coaching as appropriate.

Results
Personal Development Plan delivered and, following this, a coaching programme to focus long term career development and aspirations.

Major Investment Management Company


Focus
To conduct a talent review of the members of the Information Technology Executive Committee in order to facilitate the implementation of a new business strategy.

Activities
Utilised the company's internal competency framework to develop and conduct a 360 degree development review on-line, undertook structured interview/discussions and administered psychometric inventories. Following an analysis of outputs, delivered each executive with a feedback and personal development plan and the Head of Information Technology with a management team report.

Results
Executive Committee members gained development feedback and guidance together with a personal development plan with respect to personal growth and strategy implementation. The Head of Information Technology received Management Team Feedback report in relation to the team development needs.
