Peter Simon, BSc, FAPM, APMP

Peter has over 25 years of experience as a project management consultant and practitioner across all industries and business sectors. He has built a professional reputation as a particularly knowledgeable and skilled trainer and advisor, particularly in those areas related to project planning, risk management, resource management and programme management.

Industry sector experience includes Oil and Gas, Utilities and Transportation sectors with considerable experience in management for projects based in Europe, USA and the Middle East. Work experience includes building the project management consultancy and training arms of the PMProfessional group of companies.

Peter was an elected member of the Association for Project Management’s Council (APM) from 1998 - 2001 and a member of both APM’s Executive and Professional Boards. He was Chairman of the APM’s Risk SIG for four years and was Project Manager and Managing Editor of the APM’s PRAM Guide published in October 1997.
