Rod Eames, BA, MSc, MCIPD
Rod has worked in Management and Organisational Development, both internally and externally, for over 20 years. His most recent internal role was as Human Resources Director for a global division of Cap Gemini Ernst and Young. He now specializes in HR strategy, change management, training and coaching.
He has supported numerous organisational change programmes using creation of vision and values, attitude surveys, cultural audits, focus groups, performance management and communications strategies, and also aligned HR practices to achieve the vision. He has also designed and delivered team-building interventions and removing barriers to effectiveness.
Rod has experience of developing and delivering bespoke training and development courses and programmes using in-depth analysis of individual and organisational needs, utilising development centres and 360° feedback where appropriate. He is also a qualified coach and has used coaching to work through issues as diverse as career direction, individual transition, executive performance in senior teams and leadership skill development, and in support of organisational change programmes.
His sector experience includes professional services, petrochemicals, IT, media, logistics and property. A corporate member of the CIPD, he has a BA (Hons) in French, which he speaks fluently, a Diploma in Human Resource Management from the LSE and an MSc in Organisational Behaviour from Birkbeck College specialising in the Psychological contract.
